Mariska Hargitay…hands down! The #1 show that I could binge watch is Law and Order: SVU. Olivia Benson, protrayed my Mariska Hargitay, is a strong, competent woman who poured her heart and soul into her job during her early adult years leaving little room for finding love. Strong women with great jobs can be intimidating when it comes to relationships, but Olivia holds true to herself. I’m a chemist, and much like Olivia, I have poured my heart into my career and love just hasn’t found me yet.

Interestingly, the character of Olivia Benson adopts a baby, Noah, as a single mom. She is able to juggle her job and motherhood beautifully. In real life, Mariska is an adoptive parent as well.
